When WorkSite started over six years ago, one of our first big projects was to build the Docent Artbox for the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then, we’ve worked closely with the docents to keep the site updated and useful for them as they planned tours and lessons for visitors to the museum.
The site was still serving as a repository for the articles and research papers but it had become obvious that the site needed a refresh. We worked closely with the Artbox committee to implement a new design, new features, and security measures without losing any of the content.
The new site is cleaner and streamlined. It works much better on a phone and tablet. There are featured images for each post so docents can identify the articles more quickly.
We hope the docents enjoy the new Artbox and we look forward to working on Version 3.0 in a few years!
