The Comparative and International Educational Society (CIES) has an annual conference that brings educators and scholars from all over the world. WorkSite was asked to help build the website for the 2017 conference in Atlanta. The site will have information about speakers, submitting papers, and committees as well as travel planning.
The challenge with this site was the timing. We needed to launch a full year before the conference date. However, much of the information was unavailable at the time. The goal was to build a site that looked complete at launch but would be flexible enough to grow and fill in as we get closer to the conference. Working closely with the client and providing training, we are off to a good start.
Keep an eye on CIES2017.org for the next 12 months and watch how a site can mature and transform.
